Frequently asked questions
- How do I get paid?
- With your own Stripe account. You charge each booking directly: Makes Sport keeps a 10% commission and Stripe its fee, and the rest reaches the bank account you set up. Both are paid by you, not by the player. If a player cancels 48 h or more ahead, they get everything back and Makes Sport also returns its 10% to you. Refunds and disputes are handled from your Stripe dashboard.
- Can I use Makes Sport without Stripe?
- No. Stripe is required to list a facility, because every booking is paid upfront in the app.
- Which documents do I need?
- It depends on whether you are self-employed, a company, a club or a public body. The sign-up only asks for the ones that apply to you.
